your loss, my gain
After selling a couple of boxes of slimming coffee to my cousin, she emailed me and said she lost three kilos during the first three weeks of taking the coffee I sold her. I was so excited especially since she lost all these weight during the holidays.
I purposely didn’t go on a diet during the holidays, and suddenly I was scared…
yep…I gained weight alright…3 kilos
It’s back to diet and exercise again…sigh
Yum!
Every year for Christmas, my husband’s maternal grandmother makes loads of her signature caramel corn, which she then bags up and hands out to everyone she knows. I’m an absolute fiend for the stuff, and greedily accept as many bags as she’s willing to give me. When we were visiting last…
It’s getting cold

Just a little post on my geekiness. This is what Harry Potter was all about… the resurrection of the tale of Beetle the Bard.
Just the other day, I was talking to my husband that if I was Hermione, I would have chosen Harry. At the start she was always drawn to him and have always been very protective. Why would I, a fiercely independent and smart girl, fall in love with a scaredy, insecure Weasley? Sure, I’d be his friend…he may have grown taller, but Harry has all the drama, the adventure, and that appeal of always being chased by death eaters and Voldemort.
But if she didn’t end up with Ron, then they wouldn’t be part of the Weasley family…so I guess it all works out in the end…of the book. In real life it would be an altogether different ending.
sigh…Missing these guys…I keep wishing there was more, that it didnt end there, that there were more adventures, more mysteries to solve, before they got married and end up as boring parents.
